Some felt that the team should have thrown in the Dodgers’ ace knowing that Zack Greinke could rise to the occasion and pitch in Game 5 Wednesday should a trip back to Atlanta have had to be made.
Then there is the doubt that Nolasco could give the Dodgers a decent effort, given his struggles of late.
In six September appearances he went 2-2 with a 6.66 ERA.
However, in his last four appearances he has allowed 17 runs in 13 innings, an 11.76 ERA.
He is currently scheduled to face off against Freddy Garcia at 6:37 p.m. on TBS.
