Lakers News: Steve Blake To Miss At Least Six Weeks

Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake is set to miss a minimum six weeks due to a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow according to the team’s official Twitter account.

Steve BlakeBlake played 39 minutes in Tuesday’s 114-108 loss against the Phoenix Suns and went 3-7 shooting from the field, including 1-2 from beyond the arc, good for nine points.

Presumably Jodie Meeks or Kobe Bryant will replace him in the lineup.

This comes three days after Steve Nash said he is not sure when he’ll be back in the lineup, but is definitely not playing Friday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
