What's This?

The Los Angeles Clippers have covered the championship banners and retired jerseys belonging to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Staples Center rafters for Friday night’s preseason game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Times beat writer Brad Turner reports on Twitter.

He also shows on Twitter an image showing pictures of Clippers players that cover the spots where the Lakers’ banners and jerseys lie.

He was relayed this news by Clippers’ head coach Doc Rivers. The teams will meet Oct. 29 on the Lakers’ home court, where the banners and jerseys are guaranteed to be in full display.
