Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner and former Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to share that tonight’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat could be a preview of the NBA Finals.

NCAA Basketball: Carrier Classic-Michigan State vs North CarolinaJohnson, 54, is a former analyst for ESPN’s NBA Countdown, and has been known to voice his opinions on Twitter.

Both teams are off to shaky starts, with the Clippers showing signs of playing down to their competition, standing at 3-2. The Heat share the same record and are expected to have center Chris Bosh back after he missed the team’s last game due to the birth of his daughter.

With Dwyane Wade still shaky, LeBron James could take over. But not so fast, Chris Paul is off to a tremendous start to this season. However, he will need running mate Blake Griffin to step it up with the interior defense.

Whether or not it’s a Finals preview is a long ways away to be determined but this one should be fun to watch.
