News: Los Angeles Lakers’ Sellout Streak Ends at Staples Center
The Los Angeles Lakers’ 320-game home sellout streak ended Tuesday night in the team’s 116-95 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, in front of 18,426 fans.
It was 571 fans shy of capacity, which happened for the first time since Dec. 6, 2006, against the Oklahoma City/New Orleans Hornets, featuring players like Kwame Brown, Smush Parker, Luke Walton and Lamar Odom alongside Kobe Bryant.
Fast forward to Nov. 2013 and Bryant is out. So is Steve Nash (for two weeks), leaving Pau Gasol to play alongside Xavier Henry, Steve Blake and company.
