UCLA Loses Torian White For Season; Jordon James Doubtful Next Week

100513-JamesThe UCLA football team suffered more than just a nail-biter Thursday in a 34-27 win over Utah, learning Friday that it would be without two key players for the foreseeable future.

Left tackle Torian White is set to miss the rest of the season with a right ankle injury that was rolled onto by two Bruins players.

Meanwhile, running back Jordon James is doubtful for next week’s game against California at the Rose Bowl according to head coach Jim Mora.

The Bruins are off to a 4-0 start, their best start since 2005.

Replacing White will likely be Simon Goines, who is already a starter on the offensive line, with Caleb Benenoch taking Goines’ spot.

Jordan will be a little easier to replace, with Paul Perkins, Damien Thigpen and Steven Manfro to choose from.
