What's This?

USC will be without two major players Thursday night against Arizona as Morgan Breslin and Marqise Lee are not expected to play, the school’s athletic department reported on Twitter.

Marqise LeeThe senior outside linebacker, Breslin, is dealing with a hip injury and has registered 7.5 tackles for loss and four sacks this season. Freshman Jabari Ruffin will start in his place.

Lee, a junior wide receiver, sprained his left knee against Arizona State, an injury he said to be very minor. He has 20 receptions for 385 yards and a touchdown this season.

It is presumed that both players could be resting for a return against Notre Dame in South Bend on Oct. 19.

Thursday’s game at 7:30 p.m. will be interim coach Ed Orgeron’s first game as the replacement for Lane Kiffin.
