The following open positions are as follows:

West Coast Bias Sports (WCBSports.com)

Staff Writer

As a staff writer you will report about the latest happenings in sports — while working with one of our editors, who will help you to grow as a writer, but maintain the face of a fan.

Staff writers are expected to write 3-5 articles per week as per WCB format.

Experience Recommended: None.

Copy Editor

A copy editor reports to the editor-in-chief and helps staff writers grow in skill, while pitching them ideas to give the site more content. He will report hand-in-hand with the social media editor, who will be aggregating news and publishing stories.

Editors are expected to write 3-5 articles per week.

Experience Recommended: One year of journalistic writing, with college education preferred.

Social Media Editor

A social media editor is the face of the brand on Facebook and Twitter, who is looking to expand the name of the brand, but also seek out potential recruits to write in addition to aggregating news around the net. He will communicate with the site editor about the happenings of events throughout the day.

Social Media Editors are encouraged to publish no less than one article per week.

Experience Recommended: Profound presence on Facebook and Twitter, one year of journalistic writing.

An editor-in-chief communicates a plan with the site owner and executes it through his copy editor, social media editor and staff writers. He is always looking out for the best in the website and is expected to wear every hat possible to make the site and brand grow.

The editor-in-chief is expected to write, plan and execute up to 20 assignments per week.

Experience Required: At least 1,000 followers on Twitter, a Facebook “Like” page with no less than 1,000 likes, three years of journalistic experience.
